That same day at Lake Benbrook, I came across a flock of wild female turkeys enjoying a walk through some amazing green foliage.
I hesitate to call her beautiful, but after becoming more accustomed to her appearance, I rather like it!
Two girlfriends enjoying a stroll.
Ruffling a bit at my intrusion.
And later that morning at a quiet end of Lake Benbrook, I found a flock of Cattle Egrets. Some were still wearing the orange feathers on their heads and necks that signify breeding plumage.
