I love Pennsylvania's rolling farm land. This farm is adjacent to my favorite neighborhood place known as Norlo Park. Many of the following images come from there.

I was excited to see this bird. He's an expert at hiding and I had never seen one before. I love his ridiculously long beak used for finding yummy treats in the mud.
This Blue Jay has found a large acorn. I watched him and his partner find and swallow whole acorns for a half hour or more that morning.

As summer ended these Bobolinks appeared and stayed for a few days. I had a challenging time photographing them between the tall grass stems, their favorite perch.
